We here at CopWorld Press are dedicated to helping you to produce the most professional version of your work possible. And as a CopWorld Press author, you will become part of a supportive community of like-minded authors and law enforcement professionals dedicated to helping one another succeed and grow as professional writers.

Here is a sampling of what we provide:

  • Professionally designed cover and interior layout
  • Assigning of a unique ISBN code
  • E-book format for Kindle, Nook and other e-book readers
  • Printed materials and guidance to help you get your e-book into the marketplace and navigate the sometime confusing world of book publishing
  • Ongoing support from our publishing professionals
  • Optional editing and proofreading services

Fees

We charge $1,500.00 for the design and production of your e-book. This includes both an original cover as well as interior layout. We ask for 50% up front, upon signing of the contract, the remainder when the book is complete and ready for distribution. This fee does not include editing or proofreading charges. If after reviewing your manuscript we feel that it is in need of some editorial work, there are two options: you may hire a freelance editor/proofreader of your choice or you can have us handle the editing/proofreading. If one of our editors performs the work, there will be an additional fee for this service, which will be based on the number of pages in the manuscript and the extent of the editing needed. You will receive a quote before any work is done, so you will know the exact costs ahead of time. Other than this, there are no additional fees beyond $1,500–no hidden costs or surprises.

Once complete you will receive ebook files (both epub and mobi/Kindle) that you will then be able to upload to various ebook sellers, including Amazon and Barnes&Noble. We will assist you in this process by providing you written guidelines and step-by-step procedures for not only making your book available, but promoting it as well. While we do not offer marketing services as such, we can offer suggestions, guidance and the opportunity to connect with the CopWorld Press community of authors for ideas and support.

While our experience has shown us that e-books typically outsell their print counterparts (and with much lower production costs), some of our authors may also be interested in having us design and publish a print version of their work. These will be handled on a case-by-case basis and additional fees will be involved.
